INTEGRATED ENGINEERING SOLUTION FOR PROTECTION OF RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE – MOBILE COMPLEX OF FIRE SAFETY UNIT 'KORSHUN' 9H2-SK (MCFSU).

The Security Strong Point (SSP) mobile complex 'Korshun 9x2-SK' (MC SSP) of the railway infrastructure protection system is designed to accommodate the equipment of the railway infrastructure protection system and MC SSP personnel. The design and equipment of MC SSP provides normal climatic conditions for the independent operation of the equipment, as well as conditions for round-the-clock work of the personnel (the SSP operator).

General description

Under these circumstances, the SSP equipment ensures:

  • Accommodation of communication equipment and security systems in the installed telecommunication racks.
  • Protection of equipment from atmospheric impacts.
  • Equipment protection from overheating.
  • Fire protection by automatic fire extinguishing system.
  • Transmission of the 'Fire' signal to the monitoring station.
  • Data protection from unauthorized access.
  • Receiving external power supply from two feeders.
  • Power supply of II and III category equipment.
  • Power distribution for telecommunication racks.
  • Video surveillance inside and outside the facility.
  • Normal climatic and sanitary conditions for personnel (working shift) work and rest.
  • Fusion of information coming from MC SSP.
  • Displaying information at the operator’s work benches in order to monitor the work of SSP subordinates and/or duplication of the functions of operators of selective FSU.
  • View and partial backup of SSP video archives.
  • Providing radio communications (VHF and TETRA) with train crews and personnel serving the railway infrastructure.
  • Providing technological communication with existing office buildings.
  • MC SSP includes all subsystems required to ensure the necessary characteristics.
